To help with educational expenses, the Arize Federal Credit Union Board of Directors has established the Arize Trade and Technical School Scholarship Fund. For 2024, the Board of Directors approved up to $3,000 to be awarded to up to three local high school seniors who will continue their education at any trade or technical school. Our scholarship program is an important part of our credit union’s commitment to giving back to the communities we serve.

Eligibility Requirements

  1. Applicants must be a current high school senior in one of the following school districts:
    • Bald Eagle
    • Bellefonte
    • Huntingdon
    • Juniata Valley
    • Mount Union
    • Penns Valley
    • Philipsburg-Osceola
    • Southern Huntingdon
    • State College
    • Tussey Mountain
    • Tyrone
  2. Applicants must intend to be a student at a trade or technical school.
  3. Arize Federal Credit Union employees, officials, volunteers, and immediate family members are not eligible to apply.
  4.  Turn in the application by the deadline.

Notification
Scholarship recipient(s) will be notified in June. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients.

Award Disbursements
Up to three (3) scholarships in the amount of $3,000, each will be awarded to high school seniors who will be continuing their education at a trade or technical school. The awards are for tuition or fees only and will be paid directly to the school in which the recipient is enrolled. The Centre Foundation processes scholarship payments on behalf of Arize Federal Credit Union. Scholarship recipient(s) will be notified in June. Awards are one-time only. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, age, gender, disability, or national origin.

Application Instructions

Selection Committee
Scholarship decisions will be made by the Arize Federal Credit Union Scholarship Selection Committee. All decisions are final.
